The Eternal TeenagerA Poem by Rhiannon Dragonrainethis is a free flow - just getting out what needs to be said.Always saying you are self sufficient; you take care of yourself You have set your care for others upon a shelf. Gratitude is never forth comming According to you no one ever helps you But look at what you do I opened my home and let you stay Half the time I wonder if I will get any help with the higher bills and I wonder is how you repay Kindness given freely returned with stress and worry. You buy things that you don't NEED Then poorness and lack of money you plead Your actions show what you truly think That everyone should do for you Perhaps this philosophy you should rethink For your gripe and complain when others ask something of you. Foul moods and slamming doors you let all hear and see your dischord The little things is what you allow to enflame yet when anger is warranted you are rather tame You never seem to think about survival instead you choose to battle over baubles While at times there is reason for your misguided anger I must ask why at your age do you still act like a teenager? © 2008 Rhiannon DragonraineAuthor's Note
