something I came up while I was waiting for my sis

I sneaked out from the hospital to see you,
This is the fourth time and maybe the last time
I know how happy you are now,
I'm glad that you moved on.

You already cleared your head of me,
Now you're holding hands with another,
I'm happy to see your genuine smile once again,
I'm glad that you moved on.

I have to let you go, I hope you understand
I don't have much time left,
So would you please...
Continue smiling for me?

Ohh, this one elicits a pensive, shadowed mood-thought. Is this person in hospital because they are not long for this world? Are they referring to one that they were close to and because of their "condition" have since drifted apart? Are they happy for them because they have found someone to take their place; when they will, in due time, no longer be there for them? Let us ponder this one a bit more.
