This is great, bitter-sweet, and well-structured (the way the stanzas' last and first lines link). I suppose sometimes, even though there may be a distance, the distance itself ISN'T the problem because all the person has to do to "be by your side" would be to pick up a phone and confide itself in you. Well written, and nice picture to go along with it.
