Riddle

Riddle

A Poem by Kris Brown
"

Can you guess what it is?

"
"What good are you?" said the lonesome pine.
"Standing there attached to a line?
You're ugly and cold
no leaves to unfold
you are worthless
except for the fire!
You have brackets for branches
and no roots at all!
You're just as immovable as a brick wall!
I laugh at your fruitlessness
full of such foolishness!
Lanky and useless!
You are no tree at all!"
