Sand dollar

Sand dollar

A Poem by Katarina
"

blah

"
You are like a sand dollar, subtle and delicate.
to be careful is key, or else you'll break-
in small hands-
You're detailed, like a painting
in the dark sections
of the modern arts Museum;
a painting belonging to the dead
I want to know
what that noise is
inside you
a skeleton of your thoughts
I can view it partially-
through the aperture
of your heart
To be fully knowledgeable would mean
to break you-
and I would never break such a beautiful being.
