False

False

A Poem by Katarina

I thought it was an island, but it was a rock
I believed in the sun, but it didn't come that morning
Praying for a lift in the breeze, I did hold my breath.
I thought one day I'd run away, but instead stayed; caught in the onslaught
I resided in the sandman's rib cage, which I called home.
The vast ocean was too formidable
And that lift never really came, anyway.
So in the sandman's rib cage, I stayed.
