Why should I come to you always?

Why should I make the effort?

Why can't you understand me some days?

Why can't you clean up the dirt?

I feel like I'm giving it too much importance,

I don't think you're giving me enough.

There's a gap between us that I can sense,

And the path we're taking is rough.

I wish I could show you the tears that came,

Or the number of times I have missed you.

But then I'd see you didn't feel the same,
