Silent Tears

Silent Tears

A Poem by Pale Moon

She's a goddess in disguise,
Making my heart pound everytime,
Though she's lonely at times,
I'm always there for her.
She always hide her tears,
Even to avoid my questions,
I want to help with her problems,
She keeps on slapping it aside.
"What's wrong with you!?" I ask,
She only look at me,
"Nothing. Just stay here for me" she said.

I liked the story in the poetry. I liked the honest thoughts leading to the strong ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Your poem shows one big difference I’ve noticed between men & women. Men feel so uncomfortable when someone feels badly, they try to fix the other person. Women don’t want to fix the other person & they do not want to be fixed. A woman just wants to have someone to comfort her thru the tough stretches. It’s interesting to see this as a frustration from the man’s point of view (((HUGS))) fondly, Margie
