Gold Robes and Chains

Gold Robes and Chains

A Poem by Pale Moon

People in Gold Robes,
People in Chains,
Unbalance men,
Unbroken branch.

Ages from wood to stone,
Chains can be broken,
Chains still be reattach,
Gold Robes can be torn,
It still be repaired.

An Eternal struggle,
Gold Robes and Chains.

'Gold Robes and Chains'
Pale Moon,
Bondages, whether enslavement, imprisonment are something that many have and are experiencing. This is a reminder that the reality of life can be harsh and difficult for many. I found the color 'gold' to be interesting and wondered why you chose that.Does this poem refer to a particular country or war?
Blessings,
Kathy
