New Magic

New Magic

A Poem by Revery

Ancient  book from 1752

I set out on a journey
into the coffers
of the library,
into the deepest wells of knowledge,
far back in the basement
of this institution,
in the dark crevasses
looking for wisdom
of how to come to life.

In curious seeking
I found hidden wisdom
and was instantly transformed
for the better.
The epiphany I desired
was right before
my wearied eyes.

To test my new experience
I looked for a muse
among the simple.
I looked curiously

onto the daisy
sitting on the table
and quickly noticed more
and in different ways
as my senses
and being became more aware,
more dimensional.

Where as
before
I saw just a
flower

Now

A delicate
blushing flower
pushes gently
upward in its
intrepid being
to reach desperately
for needed light
and existential life.

The bursting out
of the flowers
in bloom
not only captivates
the eyes but
entranced the heart.

This simple process
was both
ancient and eternal
to the regenerated life
that cycles but
is ever present in the now.

Oh this changes everything

I can speak of nothing
out of everything

Now

Stronger

Finding myself
on higher plateau
with a more illuminated
vantage point
and not only a broader view
but new magic to capture it,
to translate it back
from my own reality,
and for it to be a truth
onto itself.

The sense of a breakout moment,
feeling life course through my veins
as I begin to dance with
and seduce the words.
They are mine
and I not only own them
but they are my lover.
The words them self
are my muse.

Before
I struggled to write
and now I can’t stop
the overflow of treasures
from my heart and being.
I can’t stop
as I scribe the words
onto the walls of poetry
!

speechless I am.....Amanda is right.....this is your best. I envy that your life is filled with so much beauty and life that it flows through your pen. I wish to look upon a flower..a tree..a face...and be inspired by words...but I cannot. This poem must have been like breathing in a summer breeze...a first kiss.....a magic moment...a baptism through fire and ice. I just can't express enough how beautiful this is.
Eccentric and full of Revery. 100/100

The depth of this piece is incredible.
There are so many little brush strokes bonding this piece together so perfectly.

Amazing piece of writing. A true talent to anyone that can take something so simple in its own complexity and turn it into something extraordinary. Brilliant, Revery.

Most things should be seen in the complex beauty of how you're wrote of the daisy. Everything is so fantastic - yet hardly anyone in the world is happy. It's down to pieces like this to wake people up - and very well done I say :)

The only thing that broke it for me a was a stroke of bad luck in that yesterday I read in a book some condescending person saying 'Daisies can't blush, they're the purest of white'. >.< But that's just me being really silly :P Thanks a bunch for an awesome write.

The manifestation of an epiphany can be a beautiful thing.

You've written this with a intuitive heart...

It is open to the muse of poetry within your own heart. To let it flow freely is divine... Well penned.
