Dreamer's Reverie II

Dreamer's Reverie II

A Poem by Revery
"

A re-write Dreamer's Reverie as an adult. Here it is.

"

Laced in a dreamer’s poetry
life's analogies with
streams of water and soil rich
feeding deep roots and
strong tall trees

Dreams and ambitions
leading to life changing
cocoons and transitions

In the dreamers reverie
let us muse at the maple tree
and its seeds that float and fly

Vantage point unique and high
Perspective broad and clear

Flying happily
Free above floating unbound
Basking in strong sunlight

It flies far before it finds ground

Where will it come to be
Not knowing it’s resting place

Where will it land
in this risk of fate

Will it hit soil rich and vital
So it can take root deep and loyal

Will it find streams
to grow tall and strong
so it can
repeat life’s cycle.
