I collect poets and poetry

and sand and time

in ebb and flow

and life and all it’s come and go.

In depth tranquility 

cherished

treasured fellowship, 

in still simplicity.

Held near and dear

From here to there

and 

Day to day.

But everything moves on

and sand or time blows away.

You have a vision....and in your mind a collection of poets, poetry, and bits and pieces in the of your life...
"everything move on"....life moves on in different ways...it ebbs and flows....and it should, otherwise it might be quite boring....day to day your life changes....as does time, the oceans, the trees, the weather.... a very interesting piece...Thank you for sharing!

As much as we would like our world of those close to us with poets, they drift in and out of our lives. I like to think your part of my circle, if only random far between collection. Your poem reminded me of my life’s journey and how poetry has sustained me
through good and bad. The collection of poetry books is ever growing and my friends include many poets. It was my Grandfather who gifted poetry to me. What a blessing that was. I enjoyed my visit here Revery.

Yes! We need each other and peotry. It's not perfect and these people flow in and out of our lives, but if fellowship is available, we can sustain. Thank you for your comments.
