Hourglass Secrets

Hourglass Secrets

A Poem by Revery

Here’s to endless sapphire crystal yearning

with ambitions of ink splashed onto white,

and mossed soliloquy patterns burning,

wrought willfully with telling words poets write.

Even forbidden storms know hourglass secrets

where desires stretch past dawn deep into night.

Even grace escapes dignified regrets

that whisper bittersweet amethyst rain rites.

Emotions silence blooms an eloquence reprieve,

crumbled sand mounds speak of tranquility,

and

perhaps, if we wait patiently, we might conceive

compositions of pearl-born tapestries.

Thank you beautiful. Hope your doing well.
"Even forbidden storms know hourglass secrets" So mysterious.....I read it to mean clandestine trysts through the years must stay secret. "Dignified regrets" perhaps someone pretending to regret said tryst? Great imagery and personification in this one. I liked it. Lydi**
