Winds of Change

Winds of Change

A Poem by Revery

Another year

Let us usher in
waves of change
and seasons of healing

Lets not get caught up
in measuring out the distance
between right and wrong

Even the rational thinker
or the bean counter
cannot reconcile the scales

Defense is only always ever seen
as offense in the present tense
and from the vantage point of others
But enough of that

Lets just wash the bad away
Like the ocean stale with stench decay
off the deck of the boat
we all exist and live upon
where we all stay afloat

Let us usher in
waves of change
and seasons of healing.

Forget that we swore vows to Never
and let tenderness reign and
well up from within the soul where
love for friends is easily remembered.

Open the flood gates
like a revival tent with
no room to stand
or like reunions of
long lost family
into pastures
of common land

Let these paths be paved in grace
and all inclusive
inviting all to this point and place
If only with patience we must wait

Let us usher in
waves of change
and seasons of healing.

This is truly an HSP poem, beautiful ....
any unique identifier you have felt, deeper than deep
The beautiful neutral message speaks for those
Who understand. Again a beautiful piece
With important aspects of humanity.
I think it's good to read your words are beautiful
surrounded with inner strength, wisdom, and peace.
A pleasure to read you again. Without winds of change
We as humanity would be stuck, and become stones
of our hearts, I'm so glad we are learning, and moving...
