The Beautiful Miss

The Beautiful Miss

A Poem by Revery

That moment

That one shining moment

I saw you

Not for the first time

but I saw you

Now

The air was alive

One of those mornings

where the sun

danced through

large sanctuary windows.

You!

You were glorious

The sun dress,

The dancer’s posture

The long stunning hair

You were stunning

perfection!

It was the moment

That changed everything

Now

Race across the years

The daisies

The kiss in the rain

The vows

The babies

And

You and me.

This made me smile. It touched my heart with its memories and sweetness. :) Poetry doesn't haven't to be morose to be worth reading. Im a sucker for a happy ending.

Thank you Junert. :)
Those good memories will never leave us. When I look at pictures of old. See youth and I'm thankful I held on to one woman. Those kisses in the rain and raising babies insure two people have a permanent bond. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

Yes. yes.
You have a remarkable way of exposing your soul within all that you write. As your words flow freely down the page the imagery you have used makes this so real and vivid and you can not help but feel the passion throughout. This is a beautiful accolade to the one you love and is true testimony that you are a romantic at heart and a wonderful poet.

This sincerely is poetry in motion.....
