A mature woman contemplation of finding love one last time before hanging up her harp.
Grace has been kind
to her as the years of her true age flees her appearance; and with
giving birth to her only child just a mere eight years ago, very few
would correctly guess that she was in her early fifties. But even in
the contentment of her spirit and body, her mind still yearned for a
true love to be by her side; someone to share in her son's growth and
greet the golden years and to share the many golden sunsets. With
only one last attempt at love, she must put all things on the line or hang it
up forever.
life plays itself out in a script of no one's else's. "Putting all things on the line", implies (to me) that
if love is what your looking for after 50 then you better settle for truth over substance, companionship
over sex. My sister 58 and childless, unmarried and agreeable had this exact discussion with me
about the "future" that no one can predict. This story has that same ring to it.
I met a Gypsy woman (I swear this really happened) who wanted to read my palm for 15 dollars.
But I only had nine dollars, which she gladly took. On the drive home, I wondered if she
only gave to me the part of my future that my 9 dollars would cover. Great story here Reveal,
but you have to continue it.......dana

This is my little room where I can deck the wall with words...words that remember my thoughtful emotions from moment to moment...words that when I reappear they would run greet me and remind me of the.. more..
