Mad. 

I'm mad, I tell you!

I'm mad at the evils that seep into your very soul that keeps you awake at night.

I'm mad at the voices that permeates the pain and misery. Oh, how I wish they'd stop!

I'm mad at the fickle nature of life itself, how it can slip through my mortal fingers.

I'm mad at the world. How the world and everything in it has no satisfaction found anywhere!

I'm mad at myself for foolishly making mistakes. How foolish and so very human I am.

But.. 

I'm so madly in love..

The same fingers that life slips through rush to comfort the angel I love.

The same voices that creep through at night are invalidated when I speak. 

I question myself how mad I must be since I am only human. 

As a living breathing human, I am mad. 

Mad, I tell you!

This isn't really a poem, just more of a blurb. It doesn't make any sense. I'm just playing around with a concept.

I absolutely crave this "concept" you're working with. It's so unique and wonderfully entertaining!! It's so... I don't have the words!!

Oh, this takes my words in the wind! I absolutely love it. The way you carried on the first statement to the end, the way you weaved insecurities into hope.. And how it all ended up...

Being human. Yes, yes... Humans are mad, indeed.

But in the beginning, it was like the narrator was 'angry,' not insane. It was fantastic how in the end, it was a twist; they're actually 'going mad', but with what?

I suppose it's up to interpretation.

I reviewed your work on the contrary and I suppose I ought to take some cues from your magnificent prose. Yeah, I think the first half came across as angry 'at' something, so I can see how the twist didn't come as heavily.
