Will

Will

A Poem by RESWAR

No my poem was not meant to end this way
nor was I supposed to look this way
I am turning my face from this sight
the sound the place the realm
Its not where i want to stay
I hear the sound of distant waves
beckoning calling pulling me
Away from this muted song
that has a beginning but a thwarted stop
I pull my legs out of the sand
and make my way to the yonder sun
no poem of mine will stay unsung
I have a dream away from this rusted gun
but my feet refuse to walk with me
not in them, they are scared of me
wings sprout on my shoulder blade
my will hardens a molten shade
I am gonna turn this day
fly so high and..
