DumpA Poem by RESWAR
I stand in a crevice by the side of a rock, waiting for the rain to abate.
The sea is calling, the end is near, must I let her hunger satiate? I aint no coward, nor a david, i am but a man. the one you crossed, on the street, without a tipping of your hat. I lived like this, in a crevice, a rock, a street as you may call. And now the world of sea beckons me, to leave the comfort of it all. I still stand, not a move I make, the rain is helping me. I love to hold the world at ransom on my first and last date. I stand tall.I stand free.the sea is turning colour. I laugh within and walk away.I dumped the sea today. © 2011 RESWAR |
