Crystal Eyes

my crystal eyes rapidly dilate

this hot and cold body violently pulsates 

the dead earth beneath me begins to quake 

am i asleep or am i awake 

the dry earth subtley stops in this place

a dim warm light begins to leak within this space

im frozen in time fathom i cannot

my dilated eyes have now become dots

an eclispe appears its glow icy hot

its gaze twists my fragile heart into nots 

anxiety, love, hate, happiness, and depression  

all fill my mind in fast succession

these feeling so quick theyre almost overwhelming

then the eclispe spoke and started to tell me

the human life is evanescent

while your inner light is permanent

visions of the past, conqurers of their time

prophecies of the future, cowards fall in line

this human shell has always been temporary

my encapsalated soul has been miscarried 

a chaotic mind is now at peace

for when my end is finally reached

why mourn for death, the souls released

Letting go of the self allows you to become formless.
What is more disgusting than that?
What is more beautiful than that?
Nothing.
As the eyes dilate they choose to let in more light, however, the light has always been there.
It seems as though you can now see in the dark.
