It's Raining Outside

It's Raining Outside

A Poem by Renette Hollow

It's raining outside again
And the world's still ignoring my pain.

It's raining outside once more
And from my eyes tears still pour.

It's raining outside and no one cares
That all of my dreams are now nightmares.

It's raining outside, I can't see
Is there anybody here except me?

It's raining outside, I feel so alone
Fears and tears turned me to stone.

It's raining outside, I can't cry any longer
It didn't kill me, but I'm not any stronger.

It's raining outside and my heart is locked
I've shut down, I'm tired of being mocked.

It's raining outside and no one speaks to me
I just walk by and pretend not to see.

It's raining outside and again I'm crying
Half the time I always feel like I'm dying.

It's raining outside, I just want to go to bed,
But the keep talking and ignore what I said.

It's raining outside, it never seems to end,
I know you don't understand, but you listened.
