Choices Three

Choices Three

A Poem by Renette Hollow

What am I supposed to do
With choices three, him, her, and you
And none of you will tell me what's true?
So I don't know what side to choose
No matter what I always lose
I wish I could walk in someone else's shoes.
All these wild stories and crazy lies
Are dancing around in front of my eyes
And from my decision my mind always shies
You say that you still love me
He says that with me he wants to be
We should stand strong together says she.
But how do I know what to do
When I'm still in love with you
And you say you love me, too.
But he says that you're no good for me
That I should move on, can't he see
That you're the only one for me?
And while I want us to stand strong
I don't think I can hold on for long
When you're captured by someone else's love song
Did you forget that you said you love me?
I'm dying without you, can't you see?
I need you to come back and be with me.
Please.
