Slayers Of The Slaughter

Slayers Of The Slaughter

A Poem by Joseph - Michael
"

Just one of those short and quick story about bloodbath in the poetry way.

"

One Of The Most Powerful Mobster's Daughters

Had Been Slained By The Infamous Slaughter

The Rest Of The Drug Lords And Crime Bosses

Cashed In Their Best Hit Men Without The Losses

Learned About The Facts Of The Blood Hunt

The Serial Killer's Happy And Wasn't On The Run

Already Knew The Risk, But Wanted To Stay Around

All Just For The Fun Times On The Playground

Brought Every One Of His Slayers Into His Lurk

Gave Each Of Them The Frightening Smirk

Each Of The Hit Men Deaths Have Grown

Made The Desire Of Watching The Blood Flown

Never Gotten Tired Of The Endless Kills

Only Gave Him The Best Of The Thrills

After All Were Turned Into End-Game

About To Get Personal, The Mobster Came

Face To Face For The Very First Time

Fought Without The Acts Of The Crime

Revenge Doesn't Always Taste That Sweet

Killer Had Walked Away For New Victims To Meet

You have to keep this in mind; There's nothing far worse than a serial killer with a strong desire for the bloodlust.

Awesome piece! Great flow, great images... great everything! Loved the last line, very cool. Says so much with few words.

Serial killers are scary-especially the ones with no real motive. I'm currently researching my next novel and reading up on the psychology behind Dahmer, Rifkin, Bundy and such is just... errr, nasty!

But great piece!!

What can I say? I loved it! Definitely great storyline to it. Killer vs. Mobster! Who will win? Which would you root for! lol

A serial killer with that sort of bloodlust is quite symbolic if you think about it. People who kill usually do it for a certain motive; this serial killer had no motive, but simply wanted to see the blood pour! He just enjoyed what he did, which gave him the advantage of getting the vengeful mobster.

I really liked that background you gave the serial killer. It gave me a good taste of his merciless and brutal personality.

I also agree with Dawn E. Key. The last two lines really did have a lot of meaning in it. lol "Vengeance will be upon him sevenfold." lmao! Great poem! I loved it!
