Urban Madness 2: Requiem Of The Insanity

Urban Madness 2: Requiem Of The Insanity

A Poem by Joseph - Michael
"

Before reading this one, you really need to read "Urban Madness" first in order to follow through.

"

Back Inside To The Mental Institution

Awaken From The Stench Of Abomination

Somewhere In The Room Without The Hole

Straightjacket Got Me All Covered Whole

Thought That My Brain's Already All Fried

But, They Only Begun By Getting Me All Riled

Could Hardly Hear The Others' Screams

Something About Poison In Their Ice Cream

Been Twisting And Feeding On The Dead Bugs

What I Hated The Most Is The Taste Of The Slugs

All Ready To Smash My Head Against The Wall

Problem Is That The Room Is Not That Tall

For Me To Stand Up And To Jump Around

The Orderly Got Me Pinned To The Ground

Beating Me Like Crazy With The Spiked Sticks

Until I've Bled Out And Gotten So Damn Sick

Watched My Sticky Blood Flown Out Slowly

Blacking Out The Ways Of Any Of The Unholy

Won't Be Able To See Any More Of The Horrid

Can't Sense Any More Of Those Morbid

Once More, Freed From The Sadness

Again, There Will Be No More Madness

I like how its like a continuation of them. Very well done. The words how you write just flow so well its just makes it more amazing. I love your work. You should make a book and publish all your poems and put them in there. I would so read it and buy it! I laughed when you mention the brain not because it was funny but it reminded me when I went to the "institute of living" I saw a real human brain in a jaw and it made me just to hypisitze to it! I never saw a real human brain before lol. It's so weird... lol *sry random

keep up the good work can't wait to read the 3rd one.

It just keeps getting better! I really like the twisted images that this poem provokes. Very torrid and disturbed and its awesome! I would like to see another!

OH yes! Just what do we cage inside our places where they take the people that they want to hide!
I'm imagining electrode and lightning treatment!
Perhaps needles filled with lime juice!
Ok i'm crazy, but sometime a person need to be.
Keep it up!
I like the images!

I disagree with Rosalie on the flow, it seems to flow well, then stutter in the middle. But the poem itself is amazingly vivid. The subject is one that isn't often written about in this form, but is often thought about and done in stories. So it was good to see it done in a different form. It is very dark, but pleasantly so. Well written, and different. XX

This is excellant writing!
I absolutely loved this. I've always been struck with Insanity and madness, and this encapsulates the whole scenario perfectly.
Bravo, on such an excellant write!
