God Forgives, But...

God Forgives, But...

A Poem by Joseph - Michael
"

After learning so many things about the angels, this is what I believe.

"

God Always Has Something To Forgives

But The Angels Have Nothing To Give

For Everything That We All Have Lived

We All Have Something That Are So Precious

Which Made The Angels Feel So Jealous

Strong Enough To Know The Sin Of Envious

Sang Right After They Started The Hums

Felt Everything When They're Feeling Numb

Dared To Dream Which They Cannot Sum

With Our Secrets That Never Been Told

Along With The True Values Of Our Souls

Everything We Hide, They Already Know

Still, We're Stuck With Many Of The Hesitations

Asking For The True Divines Of The Salvations

Willing To Risk With The Cost Of The Damnations

As For The God, We're Already Forgiven

To The Angels, We're Already Forsaken

At The End, Nothing Will Ever Be Forgotten

Author's Note

Joseph - Michael
I know that it may sound kind of scary when the angels will not do anything to help us, but that's what I believe; We all have to help ourselves.

Very good. I love spiritual poems. This is a deep one. Yes, the angels, and God, do know everything, we cannot hide from him. One thing I disagree upoon is that in the end it won't be forgotten. Every decision we make now, will effect us in the afterlife. But we can call upon God now to help wash us clean, and h elp us to be stronger. But then again, i could have misinterpreted it. Thanks for sharing.

I read this piece and it took me a moment to ponder it. I agree that God forgives.. he is the one that looks over his children and as a father of his children he does forgive and give love.. As for things being forgotten... I think that people don't forget. They learn from the experiences and move on. It gets tucked away.. and when something reminds.. those experiences will come back and be as fresh as yesterday. I believe our souls pay the price for the deeds we do... or stays strong when we love and help others.. it helps keep the light burning and the human sprit alive. I do believe in angels... guarding over us.. there are many incidences where I could have been harmed... my loved ones could have been harmed.. or my own friends.. Yet they managed to escape such things by a hair. Some may say it is just coincidence.

But I believe that it is our angels... members of family and friends who have gone.. our ancestors.. looking out for the ones that remain behind. :) Hmmm.. your writing made me think Joseph Michael! :)

I'd have to agree with that, but in compensation for Angels not helping, there's so many ways open to us to help ourselves. It's kind of good though, cause otherwise it'd be like looking to someone else to always bail us out of our problems and holes that we dug ourselves. Honestly, I found this piece inspiring cause when you think about it, it opens up all the other opportunities and options to you that one may not have thought of had they continued thinking someone would take em by the hand. You know?

Excellent piece! I enjoyed the concept, what it made me ponder afterwards, and the energy behind it! I think the grammar could use some work, but I know how difficult it is to use words in their correct meanings when trying to make things rhyme. You can really see the effort put forth for the conveyance of your ideas and beliefs! :D

I'm with that whole make your own fate, create your own happiness....It is somewhat creepifying that there are 'beings' that know you better than you could possibly know yourself, add to that the indifference you portray in them... We are on our own, but God is out there somewhere?

I liked it. It was evocative.

Ooh... excellent! "Forgive, but not Forget." Phenomenal message! It's actually kind of cool to read one of your earlier works. ^^ Very enlightening, and it helps me learn more about the development of your style. The rhyming was very simple; nice and easy. :)

The content: definitely my kind of poem! The storyline is easily understandable and it flows pretty well. The comparison between angels and God is a great idea! I'm very blessed that you'd share your views with us readers.

Ironically Yours.

This puts me in mind of a well known story which might give to the reasons why angels won't help, for once was there not an angel, the right hand of God, who tried to appease and was shunned for it and cast from heavens door, only to find the realization that no good deep goes unpunished and set forth to create what we now call hell? Interesting stuff, but I suppose we will never know the truth until that faithful day hopefully long in the future. As for this poem, I really enjoyed the rhymes and the break from typical poetic structure with only three lines to each stanza. Skillfully penned and a very enjoyable and intriguing read.

Great poem, I find it very thought provoking and interesting, I have to admit I have never thought about angels in this context before, I enjoyed reading your poem.
