California Sunshine

California Sunshine

A Poem by Renegade

 California Sunshine

We took California Sunshine

 Once upon a time

An experimental effort

 To expand our minds

Didn’t really know

 How much to take

All the microdot

 Had crumbled just like cake

Youthful choices

Crazy things

Let’s take half

And feel new things

Anticipation

Mind formation

That floating form

A mind’s narration

Carnation

Mind proration

That breathing form

A soul’s salvation

Foundations forming

Space gas stations

My hazel eyes

In full dilation

We took California Sunshine

 Once upon a time

An experimental effort

 To expand our minds

Twenty minutes past

Then it came on fast

Some kind of new awaking

That just seemed so vast

Slowly growing

 Feel like rowing

Heart is racing

Within its casing

Mind is bracing

For new spacing

Filtration

Mind creation

Colors, shapes

A brand new nation

Vision

Mind derision

Melting, breathing

With precision

Subluxation

A soul creation

My loner soul

In full elation

We took California Sunshine

 Once upon a time

An experimental effort

 To expand our minds
