Moon and the Tide

Moon and the Tide

A Poem by Renegade

Someone once told me
There was nothing
On the other side

Running from the
Moon and tide
The soul it really
Cannot hide

I have seen things
In my life
That indicates that
Other side

I don’t begrudge
That it’s your vision
Within my mind
A caused derision

I have been to
Hell and Back
I have seen the
Opposite

Running from the
Moon and tide
The soul it really
Cannot hide

I have seen the
 Blood and hurt
I have been to
Middle Earth

I have felt the
Devil’s rot
I have seen the
Hand of God

I have been to
Outer space
I can see this
Human Race

Running from the
Moon and tide
The soul it really
Cannot hide

I was told to not
Fight Back
When my soul was
Called to task
