Summer Storms

Summer Storms

A Poem by Renegade

Blue flash
Oh what a strange orange light
That is seen and felt with a delight

Sweet lightning bolt
Gives your soul a jump a jolt
Of fear and awe and wonderment
Of Mother Nature’s accomplishments

Lost in dreams
Did not anticipate
Crack of thunder brings you around
Deep breathe in sweet adrenaline

What is that?
There’s no mistake
Your mind can smell the rain the lake
And all those things upon the ground
Sweet ozone in its natural form
Caused by summers passing storms

Light rays thru a broken cloud
After summers storms so loud
Piercing rays of polarized light
Like fingers reaching with all their might
Is it all the souls in flight?

Reflections washed in hues of blue
Sweet shades of grey to make it true
Summer storms are not just heard
But felt within a soul that's stirred
