LOVE

Tonight i was shattered 
by a guy that i thought that mattered
he told me his lie 
and i began to believe them

 

My heart was crushed
I drifted away
I stood alone
I wanted to die

 

My head lost in thoughts 
my brain filled with confusion
I lay starting at nothing thinking

..........

 

Thats when i fell inside myself
and realized love is a lie 
and that love can die

 

now i tighten the chain; 
around my heart
and locked it together
as it beats harder and harder
longing to set free

 

I am shuting the world out
afraid to let anyone in
for who will have the key
to revel what's inside.

This is so sad! It's very well-written and has beauty but it's still so sad. =,( I still loved it though.
