LORDS OF DIVISION

LORDS OF DIVISION

A Poem by Rene Velez

the duality in hand
the science of man
is all that is left
for men of no faith...

atoms engaged
the nature of man
erased By fire, rage
and Royal estates....

science is what is left
when faith is impaired
logistics and elements
in the mist of Aliester

the light protects against
the master of division
coefficients and corrupt
politicians...

Nuclear social issues
controlled animal labs
measurements in RADS
cloned Human tissue,
lab coat pagan rituals

In the name of science
they stand united

A step away from your comfort zone, but a well recieved diversion, the placates of power are always in the grip of our tongues, well done, good read.

TRUTH!!! I feel it... I say science only goes so far and then there is god, whatever we desire him to be... very nice write!!

Nothing to be feared in learning and education. Science and faith need not be mutually exclusive, but fear is a powerful force. Learning is more powerful, I hope. Liked this!

Science get a bad rap. It does more good then bad. To heal the sickness of man need to go to bad and nasty areas. I'm very weak in the knowledge of science. Some cures can make you wonder. Is the cure worth the destruction of life? Your poem open the door to many questions. Thank you for the outstanding poem.

this was stunning...just the other day I was studying about science vs religion...actually both of them ultimately culminate at the same end...one is materialistic truth, other is divine truth...but yet in the name of science we defame religion and vice versa...as for politics "the motto service for nation has transformed to service for self"...what else to say...its utterly hopeless but people like you do bring a thin ray of light in...powerful thoughts here.

Stellar write. The curse of Prometheus I think.

So many topics and ideas divide us as a society. What a world it would be if we could all have differing views on all matters, and still have respect for our fellow man. Sounds like a pipedream, I know. If we give up hope, what is there left to live for? Well written, and inspiring.
