IN TRANSITA Poem by Rene Velez
Rahway, sun setting, past Metropark station
complacent in the fading suburban Sunday moving away from my weekend love red and orange autumn glow between houses set in rows, smiles and friendly hello's while in transit... rails and ties i search the happiness in her eyes, her magic and smile cinematic crossing bridges as water flows in it's highways of highs and lows tugboats in tow... passed the meadowlands close to home over the marshes and moss covered stones a new week i start alone, but in our hearts we are together. © 2011 Rene VelezReviews
