THE SHORTEST STRAWA Poem by Rene Velez
feeding ego's while poets do ignore
I have made my choice and grabbed the shortest straw a sign of what is in store for me in this vacant poetry blow the whistle of absolution as I walk the streets abundant in misery, I am lost in solutions, my thoughts in contribution I connect the lines spiritually convenient in no regrets, letters can not swim I relinquish and give in dripping of sin wipe me dry with the light from within soul greeting wind so my ink can begin blessed, I am caught in the whirlwind and the strife, that is life © 2012 Rene VelezAuthor's Note
