PROGRESS

PROGRESS

A Poem by Rene Velez
"

A poem about capitalism

"
cling,

clang,

the beat of rusted industrial steel,

coal dark clouds,

the progression wheel,

printed paper,

withering flowers.

I love this. Reminds me of Detroit and the factory life. May I suggest one thing? I don't think you need the commas. Your breaks and tight schemes work well without them.

My favorite part;
"...printed paper,
paid human labor,"
The end felt thought like you were interrupted
I feels like there was more to be said.

You can say about all the corruption and lies in one swoop with conciseness! I admire that a lot love!
I am so glad I can read your work....outstanding!

I especially like the last line. Also the "coal dark clouds". Nice imagery!
