LOVE IS WISE

Am I your hero?
you were mine,
feels like ages ago,
but love is infinite,
even if time gave
me just a little
time with you,

I was of few words,
quiet, and compassionate,
of simple views,
what I learned was
life has no definites,

human nature is a blanket
of emotions bestowed
upon us, small things,
signs, we aligned by words,
with softness, strengths,
weaknesses, and their hazards,

still, love is wise
with emotion and
memories, I did absorb,
lessons for me to place
on the blackboard of my life.
