MY HAND ACHESA Poem by Rene Velez
I took them off,
like old work clothes with global stains, I may have been bias, my best in artistry, sharing things I thought about, and from experiences, I've learned lessons, I took them off, and on one knee I have witnessed a generation degrade, stifled, with so much time lost, like autumn, seeds will never grow, was I born too early? or born too late? help, is only a four letter word, and one, no one is willing to use I took them off because my hand ache, and I'm tired of writing ...writing with no voice. © 2019 Rene Velez |
