THE DRIVEA Poem by Rene Velez
I won't tell you
to get help, it will probably push you away, even if the good in you wants to stay, but it's the drive, that's long and hard, hearts you discard, quick to disregard, signs of a soul starved of love, sometimes, it's easier in the pain, than to wipe away the stains, abstain, from the truth, to hold response in less regard, there is no mask, there are no gloves, only the buzz flowing through your veins, is never enough, is never enough. © 2019 Rene VelezAuthor's Note
