DOORS WITH NO ROOM

DOORS WITH NO ROOM

A Poem by Rene Velez

I arrived again and again,
never making it to the table,
sun setting but I never surrender,
I am willing, I am able,
maybe a pretender of its splendor,

my aim is a blur,
but I am told, Karma is ahead,
but I see alpha in my omega,
I am driven by my words,

no longer a child,
I walk on sand without law,
but far from unity,
equality in its flaws,
and so many with their guides,
still, I wait for my truth,

no instincts for disguise,
I still see with the eyes,
how easily I assume
in a world with no room.

So many deep thoughts here! Almost have to reread the poem a few different times and from different perspectives to truly be able to soak all of the imagery and symbolism in. Cool, unique write. I enjoyed reading this.
