I've felt hate, 
negative vibrations, 
silent dissension 
civil apprehension 

it's all there, a place, 
where only some can feel, 
can see, are you 
of color like me? 

red, or brown, 
skin of obsidian? 
where it all began, 
where it all begins, 

history erasing
yesterday, clawing
writing off the walls,
of what was before, 

once again,
the common trait, 
bait with heavy weight, 
still, raw and innate.
