SEASONS

SEASONS

A Poem by Rene Velez

I wake up to whatever mood
she's in, some days are grey,
some days the Sun shimmers
upon her pools

leave's are carried by the wind,
though we wish it, things can
never stay the same,

sometimes I find her in her fields,
approaching in her dress,
dress of Autumn colors,
a warmth to her smile,

and if I may, I will
brave the tears of her eyes,
the anew, a comfort
quenching the loneliness
of my soul.
