REINVENT

Because we can't allow history to repeat itself

They work with separation
and fear, putting lies in your ear,
breeding hate for the Muslim
and the queer, hoping they
miraculously disappear,

let's not forget the travesty,
of what they call history,
the annihilation of
Native Americans
and the constant attack
on the beginning of man,
who we now label as Black,

the shame of a Nation,
the abomination of complete
domination, but now
the lies are spent,

for centuries our ancestors wailed,
now we see through the veil,
their mistakes begging to repent,

and still no apology
as we dig the truths
from anthropology, amist a
systematic global intent,

numbers on the rise,
yes, the truth will arrive,
and a new world we'll
have to reinvent.
