SOULSA Poem by Rene Velez
I leave it in black and white
but not shallow like the left and right, I'm set on different sights, tipping the scales of humanity, looking for spiritually, I'm searching for home, we live in distractions, false satisfaction by the contraptions we think makes us whole, breaking our soul, the times it stole, the things we missed, illusions we can't resist, life no longer in earnest, no longer in control of our souls. © 2018 Rene Velez |
