AS BRIGHT AS THE SUN

With so much information
we become numb
to the things we should feel,
the truth concealed,
the turning of the wheel,
the division ideal for the plunge,

Should we challenge, then lunge
forward into an amalgam of color
as vast as the human spectrum,
succumbing to the feel
of Love's universal appeal

and with a light, we come
in abundant streams,
in a multitude of dreams
a soul activism, vibrant
and young pushed into
the bosom of freedom,

as bright as the Sun.
