THE DARKEST BLACK OF UNHOLY WINDS

THE DARKEST BLACK OF UNHOLY WINDS

A Poem by Rene Velez

I will sail against the
setting sun, on rolling
seas, in the treacherous
throes I would be, braving
creatures of the deep, of
fairy tales, you are to me,

in the darkest black of
unholy winds, the light so
ever true, guided by midnight's
stars in my hungry pursuit,

there are no holds for
an aching soul, barriers
I will not avoid, memories
no longer fill the void, of
this heart you have stowed,

I long for the sailor's cry
your embrace overdue
I'd gift every star for you,
no man more, adores than
to be upon your shores.

A amazing poem. Unholy places make the blessed places sweeter.
"I long for the sailor's cry
your embrace overdue
I'd gift every star for you,
no man more, adores than
to be upon your shores. "
I understand the above lines. Distance and separation make the solid ground of home. Better. Thank you Rene for sharing the amazing poetry.
