SKY AND CLOUDS

In an instant
I am mesmerized
by the clouds outside
my window frame.

Brings me shame,
that words cannot
honor its majesty,
asking for amnesty,
I plee to hold my gaze.

In the moment
I wish to stay.
to shut my eyes
would be a travesty,
to miss the beauty
of the day.

Sky and clouds,
and to its artistry,
I bow, until
the moon rises
to erase it away.
