FINAL REQUIEM

FINAL REQUIEM

A Poem by Rene Velez

Some of us live
some of us fly
but we all die,
sometime,

to be
one with
the Earth again,
a single thought
that humbles all men,
be it, bullet or pen,
our final requiem,

so charge
with open arms,
and enbrace the odds,
and may the Gods,
see the light in you,
if the heart is true,

we are
but a moment
between space and time,
a blink in the grand design,
colors in wondrous hues,
front seat to a stunning view.
