UNRESOLVEDA Poem by Rene Velez
She returned to the days
often, of childhood dreams before the presence of responsibilities. Insecurities above her station and place. A changing mask upon her face, for all that could see. In her heart there are things unresolved, pain like blankets of fog, keeping her issues hidden underneath. A voice that cannot speak of love and childhood happiness, and of the harm. for the one responsible, that death took by the arm. © 2017 Rene Velez |
