PHILANTHROPY

I've heard some say,
even the rich
and successful,
in the end,
give all they can
to win
their soul back,

gluttony
hollows you whole,
even in the sun
hearts can turn cold,

yet for some
this is their way,
from the warmth they stray,
some too far away
to find their way back,

the ones with the ideas
mighty and bold
turning them to gold,
but in the end
they''d give it all away
just to win back their soul.
