BONFIRE

BONFIRE

A Poem by Rene Velez

The many faces
flickered without feel,
scenarios and events,
all revealed under falling
leaves and endless stars,

close but yet so far
from reach, a silent
speech only I could hear,
no fear, just images for me,

maybe a key for a lock
between the flames,
dancing outside the frame,

yellows, oranges and reds
all dying in their deaths,
and between cold breaths,
I see things only meant for me.

I liked the poem my friend. The thoughts create place and visions. I wanted to know and read more. I did like the ending. Thank you Rene for sharing the excellent poetry.
