FLYING HIGHA Poem by Rene Velez
In a blinded bliss
her high pitchevd clamour, rapturous her rants full of emptiness, pressing her face against the world, eager to be seen, she leans dangerously close to her cliffs, avoiding the gifts she cannot see, and her four walls are no protection from her own prying eyes, flying high she believes without leaving her grounds. © 2016 Rene Velez |
