BUILD SOMETHING NEW

There in lies
a bigger divide
a bridge never
constructed,
a truth that hides
between the cracks
creating an even
bigger gap between
the two sides.

The pieces are there
but they are ignorant
to the tools, fools
fit in all shoes,
talking the talk but
no one walks the walk
and so we all lose.

Let us march back
to the pit again
and sacrifice more innocence
ino the pit of ignorance
waiting on media cues

to forever stumble
as societry tumbles
falling because we
didn't choose to
build something new.
